Green Wave Email Marketing believes that the Triple Bottom Line provides a true guideline for responsible business operation. We attempt in all cases to do business ethically, to maximize benefit for our clients and community, to spread more awareness of the very challenging environmental issues facing our shared planet, and to do business in a way that has minimal negative and maximal positive impact on the planet.
The Triple Bottom Line analyzes organizational performance using criteria that have more human meaning than the traditional "bottom line". The Triple Bottom Line is based on People, Planet, and Profits: helping People to earn a dignified living and to increase their overall well-being, helping the Planet either directly or by educating and motivating others, and generating Profits by running the organization so that those connected to the organization by mission or community benefit financially along with the organization itself.
David Alexander, President
David Alexander is the former CTO of the New York Software Industry Association, and has been senior consultant for Toysrus.com, JP Morgan Chase, NYU School of Medicine, and other large and small organizations. As President of Green Wave Email Marketing, he is dedicated to promoting an email marketing solution that provides powerful and configurable features for lists up to about 50,000 email addresses, and that also helps society and the environment through support of collaboration, social networking, and environmental initiatives.
An expert software developer, he has built several technology companies on behalf of clients and for himself. He is also the founder and lead developer of PlanetThoughts.org, an online green community and source of global environmental information. He has a Masters Degree from City University of New York Graduate Center, and was an A student at MIT.

David A. Shiang, Chief Marketing Officer
David A. Shiang has extensive experience in marketing, consulting, research, and management education. Formerly Vice President of Infrastructure Software Consulting at IDC, he has consulted to Fortune 500 companies such as Microsoft, IBM, Oracle, GE, DuPont, and Chase as well as small- and mid-sized businesses in a variety of industries. As VP of Marketing for Bob Cad-Cam and Newsphere, he led their marketing strategy and messaging efforts, helping build brand awareness and market presence.
David began writing about the Internet in 1994 and helped two of the Big 4 accounting firms create their first web sites. He has a Master of Management from the J.L. Kellogg Graduate School of Management, Northwestern University, and a Bachelor of Science in Humanities and Science from MIT. He was also a Danforth Fellow in the English Ph.D. program at the University of California, Berkeley.
