Hello Friends,
Before the summer hiatus happily engulfs us all, here are some highlights from my spring concert season, and news on my current and upcoming projects.

"a dark romantic sound... dervish monastery... the world of Bosnian Christian Orthodox idioms together with the sounds of urban New York"

CD News
After a busy stretch of composing, performing, and artist residency work, I am back in the studio finalizing my new album. In July, I am mixing the record with the super fabulous, multiple Grammy award-winning producers David Frost and Tom Lazarus. Excited is the word!! The musicians on the album are outstanding, and I can't wait to share this work. Stay tuned for the CD release news and performance dates.
Producing News
Over the past few months I was the producing consultant for S W O O N's upcoming EP, to be released this summer. Their debut single, "Break Your Heart" is swiftly approaching 10,000 plays off word of mouth alone. I thoroughly enjoyed working with these guys and hope for more fun gigs like this one!

Last month, Carolyn Dorfman Dance Company danced to my track Secret [Clockwork remix] in "Up Close and Personal", an evening of contemporary dance and conversation, with live performance by cellist Jessie Reagen Mann. The audience responses via smart phones and electronic devices gathered during the performance will inform the creation of "Interior Designs", my new collaboration with CDDC! Scored for vocal ensemble and electronics, the piece will premiere in spring 2013.
Thank you for reading! Happy summer, and I look forward to connecting with you in the fall!
